When there is trouble afoot Leo gets changed into his alter ego THE SCARLET SPIDER. Okay okay so that isn't an original name but I always loved Spiderman and I've always liked The Scarlet Spider's design more than Spiderman so Leo's costume is heavily modeled after Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider costume from the Spiderman comics
